about me
I have often said one day I would leave the town of Omaha, NE but here I am heading into my late 20's and I am still comfortably planted in the Midwest. I can't leave, the music is just too good.
I grew up on rock and roll I heard on the radio and got by on the independent post-punk seven inches that a few of my friends would play for me. I ended up listening to anything from Gram Parsons to Boston to Bob Dylan to Fugazi to you get the picture.
why i'm a source
I'm here to add to the incredible mix of music I found here at MP3 4U. My tastes tend to vary, though they are rooted in rock and roll and the blues. I am also a fan of music that reflects rustic America, from the music of coal mining towns to country-fied rock coming out of small towns all across the country. I aim to expose some great Midwest indie bands to the rest of the world. Come take a look at the slag heap of great American rock and roll music I'll be piling up.
