    about me
When I bought my first PC, my intention was to create music in the cheapest way, on my own -- like a one-man-band-in-a-box... So I went on the Internet and got a few freeware music creation tools, and started "creating", at the same time surfing around music label websites checking for inspiration. And what had to happen finally happened : I ended up downloading more perfect songs in a day than I could ever write in a thousand years.
    why i'm a source

Witness (1 Hope) by Roots Manuva
    hip hop, UK hip hop
I could write on how "Witness" skitters and pulses with electronic life in the best dub tradition, yet retains a danceable, propulsive groove. I could...  more »
    Naked by Shackleton

"Naked"? I'd rather use "skeletal" to describe this track. A percussive sample rolls on and on, vocals, melodica and thin synth lines echo deeeeeep inside...  more »

Formed by ex-Beta Band members, The Aliens is reminiscent of late-80s / early 90s English bands of the Madchester scene. They produce songs that are...  more »
