"bottled at the source"

  • image
    about me
What the fuck is music? I have an insatiable appetite for whatever it is, all twisted up in love and hate, pleasure and pain, desires and nostalgia. To make things really confusing I seem to be loving "music" that I used to cringe at, go figure. The medium of sound is our first rich sensory experience, listening to ol' mom's heart beat, rock 'n' roll! Sound remains in a shroud of mystery behind sight, her dominant, clumsy punk brother, it's easy for her to look sexy and alluring by comparison. Even with the loudness of our visual world our ability to perceive sound is actually far more sophisticated than sight, so the medium of sound remains an important one. The nine Mousia were the Greek goddesses of music, song and dance and the source of all inspiration to poets ( art being merely a trade or craft! ). As the patrons of literature they were also, by extension, the goddesses of knowledge and were said to know of all things that have come to pass. That said, I hope I have some useful angle for your Internet musings. I like alot of crazy cool shit! Best, pjaction
