The Tao Of Mad Phat
by Steve Coleman & the Five Elements
, , , m-base

Band Geek says: Altoist, Steve Coleman is a legend on his instrument, as a composer/group-leader, and as a jazz promoter. He's put a HUGE amount of material up for free on his website. This, the title tune of one of the best live contemporary jazz releases of the 90s, starts off with Coleman by himself and ends up a collective m-base funk explosion. Dig it!
