American Slag Heap says: The Light Wires is a four-piece from Cincinnati, OH fronted by singer/songwriter Jeremy Pinnell. Their sound recalls Nebraska-era Springsteen, but it hits harder. As their press release says, The Light Wires find themselves "in the thorny space between reverence to and subversion of the traditional American songbook."
