Stratofortress
by Gonga
, , stoner rock, doom rock

Comrade Chimp says: Gonga are a Bristol based doom rock outfit who despite a strong following and support from the likes of MTV2 and XFM have never quite broken through. This track from 2003's self-titled album is the one that first brought them to my attention. A brilliant, sometimes lumbering sometimes charging dinosaur of a track. Shifting tempos driven by a ground-rumblingly deep bassline.
