simplejonny says:I don't even know how to say how I felt the first time I heard this song. If Survival of the Fattest was the punk comp that taught me how fun punk could be, Hopelessly Devoted To You Vol.3 taught me how good punk could be when it grew up. That comp introduced me to Samiam and The Weakerthans and both became fast favourites. These bands are the sound of punks growing up. The guitar is a little slower, the life is a little more worn in, but the emotion is still there in full force. A catchy opening riff is bolstered by a solid bassline and vocals with just the right combination of edge and poppiness. Beautiful.
