Rather Dance With You
by Kings Of Convenience

Lady Sonic says: "Rather Dance With You" By Kings Of Convenience conjures up memories of those awkward moments in the school dance scenes in the light-hearted 80s romance movies we all know and love (think Pretty In Pink and Sixteen Candles). "Rather Dance With You" would be playing in the background at the moment when our metaphorical 80s movie climaxes and the tension of unrequited love is finally released and a gratutious make-out scene ensues. The pure pop melodies, and the confection of layered vocals that border on being sickly sweet add to the "After School Special" appeal of the Nordic duo's PG rated track. Don't forget to take out your retainer before you kiss her!
