Own A Mountain
by Dave Insley
, , alt.country, indie brilliance

Din says: Dave Insley's Call Me Lonesome CD is one of the most important country records to come along in years. This just blows away the half-baked commercial tripe of mainstream country, with a compassion and sincerity most indie rockers can't even toy with. My buddy Slag Heap posted the first song on this CD a little while back; Own A Mountain is the gospel fueled rocker that closes the disc. Everything in between, the whole damn record, is superb. I can't stop playing it.
