For Real
by Okkervil River
, ,

alien protocol says: Okkervil River is a band out of Austin that is named after a story by Tatyana Tolstaya, and the band says that "it's a real river outside of St. Petersburg." The lyrics from this song cut the flesh all the way to the bone, they're as "Real" as they come... and they're punctuated by sharp instrumental jabs from the band. This band is currently on tour with the Decemberists, what a mighty fine show this could be. Take it from me, you gotta check Okkervil River out.
