Subverse says: This Beck song, apart from the Johnny Cash reference, sounds like late Beatles work till’ the electronic breakdown. Enhanced by skillful studio maneuvering, the song does not simply belong in a pre packaged, easy to consume box. That’s why Beck recordings continue to surprise me.
