He_Is_Me says: This track's taken from an album entitled "Music's Made of Memories", and to my mind it's a good way to understand what's so endearing about that song. The beats (is it a TR-707 I hear?) remind me of early synthetic disco (or even early hip-hop), while the synth atmospherics instantly conjure up memories of 808 State or other British "acid house" greats. So yes, Treva Whateva's music is clearly made of memories, but beautifully rearranged memories, like a miniature incorporating all the best sounds of dance culture.
