He_Is_Me says: Who says computer-assisted music cannot convey powerful feelings? Slicker, a.k.a. John Hughes, founder of Chicago's Hefty label, wrote a full album with his 2-tear-old daughter in mind. The songs had to be accessible to anybody (including her!), but, as this slow electro-funk jam proves, every sound in the mix was precisely, lovingly crafted. Is this blue-eyed soul for the 2000s?
