He_Is_Me says: The unearthers of funky gems at Light in the Attic Records have released a new compilation of tracks recorded by Jamaican artists in Toronto between 1967 and 1974. With "Chips...", Jo-Jo Bennett delivers a tight 2-and-1/2-minute piece of sexy r'n'b: a killer breakbeat, great organ (maybe the most "Jamaican-sounding" ingredient in the mix), and monumental brass stabs make this a must-listen for any oldies fan.
