The Portland, OR band took quite an intense approach to this new record, and the end product is a wider, brighter, and wilder sound for the band. The subject matter is also quite timely and indicative of how divisive "American society" has become... the lyrics to all the songs form a story that envisions a United States governed by a fascist Christian state, and focus on the need (and means) to escape.
