alien protocol says: Germany's Devastations bring to mind the image of David Bowie crooning in a smoky and dimly lit underground Berlin cabaret. Syrupy vocals and a lazy mini-orchestra glide "Sex & Mayhem" in and out of pleasantly dark sonic caverns. This is blissfully dark music.
