Soul Bird
by Jackie Mittoo
, ,

He_Is_Me says: Reggae's greatest keyboardist of all time, Jackie Mittoo himself, responsible for the best rootsy riffs on seminal, revered songs, released a few records under his own name. "Soul Bird", as suggested in the title, is clearly influenced by late 60s R'n'B. It was recorded in Toronto, Canada, but could have been cut anywhere between Memphis, Tennessee and Kingston, Jamaica.
