War Of The Worlds

The Common Cold says: Oh the things I find poking around at Internet Archive. Here is the classic 1938 radio show of Orson Welles' dramatic reading of H.G. Wells' groundbreaking sci-fi novel. When orginally broadcast, many listeners mistook this piece for an actual news broadcast and panicked. It is a great listen, a window into pre-war culture and the lost art of live radio drama.
