Bring Us Home
by David Carver
,

Din says: David Carver is a veteran of both the Viet Nam war and the first Gulf war. His son Thomas Carver is an active duty serviceman, who was about to return to Iraq for his fourth combat tour when his dad finished this song. To say the man has credibilty on this issue would be a ridiculous understatement. "Bring Us Home" is the first song Mr. Carver has ever recorded. Yet he sings with the polish of a pro, and a sincerity that can only come from living his story. The song is at once humble and proud, inspiring and heartbreaking. Thanks to Mitch and michiganbands.com for sharing this.
