Din says:I recently read a biography about Joe Strummer called Redemption Song. Even as a long time fan, I was amazed how loveable and confounding this man was. "Yalla, Yalla" sounds like a day in the life of Strummer's heart and mind. Now as for the book, it has a subtitle - "Definitive Biography" - I have to say that's nonsense. Good book, I recommend it, but you can't write a "definitive" bio, can you? Life's more complex than that. I think Joe would agree. Anyway, a good read, and this is a great track from the first Mescaleros record on Epitaph.
