Paul Kern Can't Sleep
by The Dimes
, , , rainy day

alien protocol says: Here's a song off of one of the newest records from Portland, OR. The Dimes tell us the story about a Hungarian WWI soldier named Paul Kern. Shot through the frontal lobe of his brain, Mr Kern's war injuries prevented him from being able to sleep for the rest of his life. Not only could he not fall sleep, but he couldn't be made to fall asleep through use of drugs or even hypnotism. It's an artfully told tale, and the expansive guitars on this track fill up the room.
