Love Makes the World Go Round
by Johnny Osbourne feat. Bunny Brown
,

He_Is_Me says: Light in the Attic Records once again unearthed a surprising gem of Kingston-by-way-of-Toronto reggae. Can there be a more stripped-down yet potent sound as that produced by the rhythm section on "Love Makes..."? Osbourne's (or is it co-singer Bunny Brown's?) voice is a lovely falsetto, further enhanced by a slight, dubby echo. Pure minimal genius, with maximum effect.
