1952 Vincent Black Lightning
by Del McCoury
,

American Slag Heap says: Well I travelled out to San Francisco for the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, and it was one heapin helpin of flatpickin fingerlickin footbaggin caterwaulin fun. The headliner at the end of the whole affair was the one and only Del McCoury and his amazing band, and this song was one of the highlights. I was so glad to find "1952 Vincent Black Lightning" and a bunch of other hot live recordings of this legendary band, at Archive.org this morning. Big thanks to my buddy Jessica for getting me out to the show.
