RamblinMan says: A moody slice of finger-pickin' greatness, Crooked Still work within the bluegrass traditions (this is a Flatt and Scruggs number) but give it their own twist. There's something a little menacing about this - that scraping cello adds something very distinctive to the sound. Think of an edgier and darker Alison Krauss, and you're somewhere close. Just forget your preconceptions and give it a try.
