Subverse says: It is easy to get caught up in the instant gratification of a catchy song, and that's usually what keeps me coming back. But I realize now that sometimes records that live in the peripheral edges of my usual taste need a bit more attention. A second or third spin is usually what it takes to really get an idea of where I stand. Then the bassline kicks up and two lesbians sweep me down.
