Broke and Hungry Blues
by Blind Lemon Jefferson
, ,

Public Domain 4U says: Not all of Blind Lemon Jefferson's brilliant recordings have survived the years so well. They often have decades of wear and tear in the grooves, pulled from the original 78 RPM side or reel to reel tape into the digital realm in the nick of time, saving what's left of these audio treasures from oblivion. There's hiss and pop on this, but that doesn't obscure the magnificent art shining just beneath. "Broke and Hungry Blues" is a timeless masterpiece.
