PasT/RèsTôt, Duo für Violine und Klarinette
by Patricia Kopatchinskaja and Reto Bieri
, ,

High Brow says: Here is a duet of violin and clarinet that showcases how dense and vivid a story can be told through the playing of only two instruments. The piece is by Otto Zykan, who died tragically last year, and is taken from a live recording on Swiss radio. Sit back in your luxury automobile while you cruse the beautiful country side (hopefully in Europe) and watch your imagination light up like fireflies in Central Park.
