Eclecticat says: A while back Uncle PD4U posted Edison's first sound recording, and suggested it was perhaps the first audio recording ever made. Apparently, this is older still! Entertaining? Sure, in its way, and it's such a curious story I just had to post it here. Here ya go, the really truly oldest recording ever.
