We Ask You To Ride
by Wooden Shjips
, , ,

Eclecticat says: I dig Wooden Shjips, and I believe these guys dig the Door's first album. Psychedelic, arty, and no wave-ish in their musical meanderings, this is an area of music most bands find that the amount of honesty it takes to create such cadence is often too uncomfortable to stomach. WS acceptance of life's sometimes tragic turns allows them to sail by bands whose character does not include the principle of courage. Deep work fellas.
