Madelia says: New York power pop band, Mas Rapido! creates a hazy amalgam of Brian Jones' Rolling Stones, The Beach Boys, The Byrds, and maybe The Smithereens? No, I take that last band back. What I won't take back is my opinion that this trio is making gritty, post, pre, retro, pop rock with attitude, and a steadfast rhythm.
