To Build A Home
by The Cinematic Orchestra Feat. Patrick Watson
, , ,

High Brow says: I discovered the wonderful sound of The Cinematic Orchestra by accident. You see, I was at the record store and my mission was to take a CD home from a newly discovered band. While in the "Nu-Jazz" section, I saw a band called TCO. I thought, "well this must be misfiled. Cinematic Orchestra? Must be modern classical group. This will satisfy." Let me just say, this is not chamber music! Try swirling around Radiohead sulkiness with Miles Davis intensity and the vocal grace of a Nora Jones in your wine glass and you have the rough equivalent of The Cinematic Orchestra. Bella!!
