Guns of Brooklyn
by Santogold and Diplo

Dave Allen says: Santogold and Diplo teamed up and just recently released a mixtape of exclusive material and remixes called, Top Ranking Mixtape. Today's MP3 is a Clash cover from what has been called the great album of the 1980's, London Calling (released in 1979). Like the original, titled "Guns of Brixton," this cover still manages to evoke the same sense of dread.
