Crimson Grail Part 1 (excerpt)
by Rhys Chatham

Din says: Rhys Chatham is doing a performance of his piece "Crimson Grail" in NY with no less than 200 guitars. But hey, that's nothing, when they did it in Paris there were 400! This mp3 is but a short excerpt from one movement of the piece, but I had to post it. It's as big as the sky and preposterously beautiful. Thanks to my friend Lucio for the tip. He's one of the 200 guitarists performing this at Lincoln Center in New York City on August 15.
