Boots Of Chinese Plastic
by Pretenders
, ,

Eclecticat says: "Boots Of Chinese Plastic" contains all the things I expect to hear in a Pretenders song. Although the Pretenders have gone through numerous personnel changes, Chrissie Hynde, the only original member and songwriter, is still writing songs that reflect the troubled emotional dissonance that we feel living in a material world. Her lyrics are so fantastic, a song about boots made of Chinese Plastic. Meditate on that for a moment.
