This Lonely Love (feat. Richard Butler)
by Juliana Hatfield
, ,

Din says: Juliana Hatfield's new record marks a quiet triumph from this defiantly intelligent singer songstress. "This Lonely Love," a sad but oddly uplifting single, fits her simmering, longing voice like a furry glove on a cold Manhattan day. Psychedelic Furs vocalist Richard Butler contributes a moody background part, which, unlike a lot of guest star appearances on pop records, sounds natural and appropriate to the music. Sweet, heartfelt, sincere work, with simple, top shelf production values. I like it.
