Here Is What Is
by Daniel Lanois
, ,

Eclecticat says: Singer songwriter Daniel Lanois is better known as one of the top recording engineers in the business, famous for his work with U2, Peter Gabriel, Brian Eno and other luminous talents. This track, like the hits by aforementioned artists that he helped create, prominently features the vocal over a seamless accompaniment that manages to be both cutting edge and classic in its form and function. Lovely song, too.
