    about me
I come from Indianapolis and Bloomington, IN, and I'm here to represent. Several of the bands I've submitted hail from there or have some sort of Indiana connection. Secretly Canadian and Smokey Lung are my favorite labels from Bloomington, to name a couple. I'll also be submitting quite a few San Francisco bay area bands since that's where I now live.

Check out Musical Family Tree for many more awesome MP3s from Indiana-related bands!

    The Sublimation Hour by Destroyer
pop, indie, anthem/glam rock at its best
'The Sublimation Hour' is anthem/glam rock at its best. It should be played at the end of every drunken night out on the town. I...  more »

Ne're Do Well by Young People
    rock, country/folk, experimental, indie
These Young People have such a refreshing, idiosyncratic sound. It's like Doris Day meets Cat Power meets Deerhoof, but better. Katie Eastburn's incredibly appealing, showtune-perfect...  more »

    Swingset Chain by Loquat
    pop, indie, trip-hop
'Swingset Chain' is chock-full of nostalgic and poppy bittersweetness, very much like the band's namesake. (A Loquat is a small, juicy and citrus-y Asian fruit.)...  more »
